touristic and maritime town on the Costa
Blanca, is situated between the San Antonio and La Nao capes, enjoying the
impressive and magnificent protection of the Montgó.
A clear and pleasant Mediterranean washes its 16 miles of beaches, coves and
cliffs.
The town has an historical nucleus with tosca porticoes, gothic bay windows,
wrought iron windows bars and balcony railings, luminous patios… The
fortress church San Bartomé, is an example of late gothic with a defensive
character.
Aduanas del Mar is an urban center developed around the harbour, formed by
this maritime and touristic ward.
The Arenal area is the commercial, estival and “in” center of the town.
In the Montgó Natural Park (Les Planes) stand the remains of the XIV-XVIII
century windmills.
